KSH: GDP grew by 4.1 percent in the first quarter
The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 4.1 percent in the first quarter, compared to the same period of last year – according to the first estimate of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) that was published on Tuesday.
Calendar effect adjusted, the annual comparative economic growth was 3.7 percent and the seasonal effect adjusted, the calendar effect corrected and the extraordinary effects corrected data became the same: 3.7 percent.
Compared to the previous quarter, the volume of gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 1.3 percent in the first three months, according to seasonally adjusted and calendar-adjusted data. Industry and market-based services contributed to the growth the most. (MTI)
