Hungarians spent more than 26,000 HUF per head on food at Easter last May
Hungarians spent 4 percent more than the average monthly spending on food and non-alcoholic beverages last month – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Monday.
Of the most popular products related to the holiday, 78 percent of the households bought ham, 69 percent eggs, and 72 percent bought chocolate in March 2018. Compared to the monthly average spending, families spent 3 percent more on cakes and pastries, 541 HUF last year. (MTI)
