KSH: earnings growth accelerated in February
In February, gross and net average earnings were 12.1 percent higher than a year before, after the 10.6 percent in January. In the first two months of the year, salaries increased by 11.4 percent, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday.
Calculating with the 3.1 percent February inflation of and the 2.9 percent inflation of the first two months, real wages were 8.7 percent higher in February and 8.2 percent in January-February than a year before. (MTI)
