KSH: earnings increased by 9.8 percent in February
In February, both gross and net average earnings excluding benefits increased by 9.8 percent year-on-year. Net earnings, taking into account discounts, increased by 9.5 percent, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Thursday. Earnings growth picked up slightly in February, with annual earnings growth at 9.5 percent in January.
The average gross earnings of full-time employees – in enterprises with at least 5 employees, budgetary institutions and non-profit organizations significant for employment – were 414,400 HUF, excluding public employees, 425,100 HUF. (MTI)
