In February, the average monthly number of employees aged 15-74 was 4,550,000, which is 104,000 less than a year before, but 14,000 more than in the previous month, largely as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the Central Statistical Office said on Tuesday ( KSH).
In the three-month period of December 2020 and February2021, the average number of employees was 4,574,000, which is 50,000 or 1.1 percent less than in the same period of the previous year. The employment rate for those aged 15-64 was 71.8 percent, 0.3 percentage points lower than a year before. (MTI)
