KSH: emplyment decreased by 56,000 February-April, compared to the year before
In the three-month period of February-April, the average number of employees was 4 million 436 thousand, 1.2 percent ie56 thousand lower than a year earlier – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Wednesday.
The employment rate for those aged 15-64 fell by 0.6 percentage points to 69.2 percent. The economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic still did not fully affect the period under review, so its effects are more pronounced in the employment data than before, but not in full, the KSH noted.
