KSH: Industrial production increased strongly in January
According to seasonally and working-day adjusted datas, the volume of industrial production rose by 6.1 percent in January, compared to a year earlier, and was 3.1 percent higher than in the previous month – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) told in its detailed report, tha was released on Wednesday.
The expansion of production, as in previous months, was driven by the strong growth in vehicle production and in the sales of the related supplier industries – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) added.
Industrial exports during the first month of the year increased by 9.3 percent compared to the same period of 2013. (MTI)
