KSH: exports and imports equally increased by 6.2 percent in August
In August the euro-denominated value of exports and imports increased by 6.2 percent compared to the same month of last year. The trade surplus was 459 million euros, 25 million euros more than in August 2014 – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced its first estimate on Friday.
In the first eight months of they year, exports increased by 7.4 and imports increased by 5.6 percent, compared to the same period of the last year. The trade surplus rose by 1.214 billion euros to 5.311 billion euros.
In the first eight months exports amounted to 59.386 billion euros, while the value of imports was 54.076 billion euros. (MTI)
