KSH: industrial production expanded by 1.8 percent in December compared to the same period of the previous year and by 0.9 percent compared to the previous month
In December 2025, the volume of industrial production exceeded the previous year by 1.8 percent, while adjusted for working day effects, it decreased by 1.0 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Friday based on its first estimate.

Based on seasonally and working day adjusted data, industrial output was 0.9 percent higher than in November.
In 2025, the volume of industrial production was 3.2 percent lower than in 2024.
The production volume in most manufacturing sub-sectors increased in December compared to the same month of the previous year. Of the most important sub-sectors, vehicle manufacturing and food, beverage and tobacco production expanded slightly, while computer, electronic and optical product manufacturing and electrical equipment manufacturing expanded significantly, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced.
The Central Statistical Office will publish detailed data on December industrial production next Friday, February 13, based on its second estimate.
