KSH: consumer prices grew by 0.9 percent in December
Consumer prices increased by 0.9 percent in December, compared to the previous year. Compared with November the decline was 0.3 percent.
Last year, for the year as a whole, consumer prices were on average 0.1 percent lower than in the previous year – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Thursday.
The December data meets the expectations of analysts: The consensus of financial analysts in London was 0.9 percent. Last December, alcoholic beverages and tobacco prices increased with the highest degree. (MTI)
