KSH: decreasing agricultural producer prices, declining industrial production
Agricultural producer prices fell in October. The low prices of farmers, inter alia, are due to the EU fundings. The industry is still in bad shape, but at least it seems, does not fall further.
According to the Central Statistical Office (KSH); the agricultural producer price level in October 2009, decreased by 7 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year.
The industrial production decreased by 10.8 percent compared to the same period of last year.
The production volume in the first ten months of the year was 20.2 percent lower, than the same period of last year – reports Origo.
