KSH: Retail sales increased even higher than previously indicated
In November last year, retail sales were 6.7 percent higher than in the previous year, according to both the raw and calendar adjusted data, according to a second estimate of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) published on Wednesday. The figure is 0.3 percentage points higher than it was indicated in the first estimate that was released on 8 January and has been the largest growth since April 2016.
Growth in food and food-mixed retail stores grew by 4.6 percent compared to the previously-indicated 4.0 percent, while the Central Statistical Office (KSH) improved the data of non-food retail sales from 10.2 percent to 10.4 percent. (MTI)
