KSH: foreign trade surplus grew in August
The value of exports in August this year was 6.4 billion euros (1911 billion HUF), while the value of imports was 5.8 billion euros (1728 billion HUF).
The trade surplus was 613 million euros (184 billion HUF), compared to the 606 million euros of a year before – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Thursday. In the first estimate of the Central Statistics Office (KSH) released on 8 October, the KSH reported about only 8 million euros higher August exports and trade surplus. (MTI)
