KSH: the number of employees was over 4.5 million in August

In August, the average monthly number of employees increased by 54 thousand to 4 million 514 thousand compared to the previous month, and decreased by 18 thousand, compared to August last year.

The employment rate of people aged 15-64 was 70.7 percent, which is 1.1 percentage points higher than in July and 0.2 percentage points higher than in August of the previous year, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Tuesday. (MTI)
