KSH: The guest traffic of accommodation rose by 2.9 percent in August
In August, 1,260 million guests spent 2.9 percent more overnight stays in commercial accommodations than a year before. The number of nights spent by foreigners increased by 1.9, the guest nights of domestic guests increased by 3.7 percent – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) reported on Monday.
The increase in domestic traffic exceeded the increase of foreign traffic. The gross sales of commercial accommodations at current prices increased by 11 percent. The average 5.1 percent price increase of rooms contributed to the growth of revenues. (MTI)
