KSH: August retail sales rose by 2.5 percent
In August, the volume of retail sales by 2.5 percent pace in compared with a year earlier, according to teh calendary adjusted datas, while the unadjusted index indicates an increase of 2.0 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) confirmed in its second estimate.
The food demand was 1.6 percent lower than in last august, the sales of non-food products increased by 6.8, the sales of fuels increased by 4.3 percent.
In the national network of retail stores and mail order and Internet retail trade the turnover at current price was 793 billion HUF in August 2014, 16 billion HUF more than a year earlier – the Central Statistical (KSH) added. (MTI)
