KSH: August retail sales volume fell by 2.4 percent
In August, retail sales volumes was 2.4 percent below, while in the first eight months of the year it was 1.4 percent below the same period of the last year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Thursday.
In the decrease, the sales decline of food and beverages shops, gas stations, as well as furniture and electrical goods shops played a determining role – as in the previous month. At the same time the dynamic growth of mail order and online retail continued – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced. (MTI)
