KSH: In August, 24,000 more people worked than a year ago
In August, the average monthly number of employees aged 15-74 was 4,678,000, which is 24,000 more than a year before and 26,000 less than in the previous month, according to a report released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Tuesday.

Employment expanded on an annual basis
The three-month moving average used by the KSH as the main indicator for the June-August period shows 4 million 659 thousand employees, which is 40 thousand more than in the same period of the previous year and 12 thousand more than in the previous three months. In the primary labor market, employment increased by 57,000, and employment among those working abroad decreased by 17,000. (MTI)
