KSH: Earnings grew by 10.1 percent In August
In August, gross average earnings reached 321 172 forints, net average wages 213 579 forints, which is 10.1 percent more than a year before. In the first eight months of the year, earnings grew by 11.8 percent over the same period last year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Friday.
The annual growth in real earnings was 6.5 percent in August, and 9.0 percent in the first eight months of the year, with a 3.4 percent and 2.6 percent inflation.
The average gross earnings for non-public employees were 331 410 forints in the eighth month of the year. (MTI)
