KSH: the turnover of retail stores decreased by 0.7 percent in August
In August, according to the raw data, the turnover of retail stores decreased by 1.2 percent and calendar effect adjusted by 0.7 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Monday.
In the previous month, the KSH measured a modest 0.4 percent annual increase, which is an improvement of 10.6 percentage points from the April low, following a 4.1 percent decline in the second quarter.
In August, non-food retail stores selling most of the manufactured goods grew 1.2 percent year-on-year, after 0.4 percent in July. (MTI)
