Export surplus continued to increase in April
The euro-denominated value of exports increased by 5.1 percent, while imports fell 1.9 percent in April, compared with a year before, the trade surplus increased by 527 million euros to 959 million euros – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced its first estimate on Wednesday.
In March, exports and imports were 3.5 and 3.2 percent lower, compared to a year before.
In the first four months, exports increased by 2.5 and imports by 1.2 percent, compared to the same period of last year, the export surplus increased by 406 million euros to 3.418 billion euros. (MTI)
