KSH: retail sales were lively in April
According to raw data, retail trade turnover, was 8.5 percent higher in April, compared to a year before. Calendar effect adjusted, the growth was 7.1 percent, mainly due to the Easter effect – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.
The data show a significant upturn, as retail trade turnover increased by 4.9 percent in March, compared to a year before, while seasonal effect adjusted increased by 5.9 percent, also due to the Easter effect. (MTI)
