KSH: the foreign trade surplus was 629 million euros in April
In April 2014, exports increased in euros by 3.1 percent, while imports calculated in euro increased by 4.2 percent. The export surplus was 629 million euros, 44 million less than a year ago – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Thursday.
The export and import datas are identical to the previously reported figures, while the balance surplus was 4 million more than the previously published preliminary data.
In the fourth month of 2014 the foreign trade export volume was 6.5 percent higher, while the volume of import was 8.1 percent higher, than in the same period of the previous year. In the first four months of the year, the foreign trade import and export volumes both increased by 8.2 percent. (MTI)
