KSH: consumer prices rose by 2.4 percent in April
Analysts also expected inflation at 2.4 percent in April after the 3.9 percent in March.
Consumer prices fell by an average of 0.6 percent, compared to March.
Annual core inflation remained at 4.3 percent the same as in the previous month.
The 16.4 percent monthly decline in fuel prices as a result of oil prices alone contributed 1.1 percentage points to the one-month decline in the consumer price index, the KSH reported. (MTI)
