KSH: retail sales decreased by 10.2 percent in April
In April, the turnover of retail stores decreased by 10.2 percent, according to both raw and calendar-adjusted data, compared to the same period of the previous year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Thursday.
The pandemiological emergency and regulatory restrictions affecting both retail have affected the turnover of all types of businesses, the agency noted in its report.
In the previous month, March, calendar-adjusted retail sales grew by a further 3.5 percent because food and pharmaceuticals, purchases of medical products and exit restrictions did not last all month. (MTI)
