KSH: retail sales rose by 6.4 percent in February
The increase in retail sales was slightly better than expected. Compared to the previous year, retail sales rose by 6.4 percent in February – according to the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
In the first two months of the year, the calendar-adjusted data showed a 7.5 percent retail sales increase. The non-adjusted data was 7.5 percent. The volume of sales increased by 4.5 percent in food retail, and by 10.4 percent in non-food retail. Fuel sales increased by 10.3 percent in volume. (MTI)
