KSH: commercial accommodation establishments received 5.2 percent more guests in 2018
Commercial accommodations registered 5.2 percent more, 12.5 million guests, and 3.8 percent more 30.9 million guest nights last year. Foreign guests spent 2.4 percent more, and domestic guests spent 5.3 percent more guest nights – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday.
Commercial hotels – at current prices – achieved 9.3 percent higher, a total sales of 510 billion HUF last year. Within this, accommodation fee revenue increased by 8.3 percent and amounted to 301 billion HUF. Catering revenues increased by 31.4 percent to 121 billion HUF, while other services revenues decreased by 8.8 percent to 88.3 billion HUF. (MTI)
