KSH: GDP grew by 3.4 percent in the first quarter
Hungary’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 3.4 percent in the first quarter, compared to the same period of the last year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced its first flash estimate on Wednesday. The analysts expected almost the same results.
According to the calendar adjusted data, the annual GDP growth was 3.1 percent, while compared to the previous quarter, the economic growth was 0.6 percent seasonally adjusted. According to the Central Statistical Office (KSH) the growth was primarily due to the improvement in the performance of the industry. (MTI)
