KSH: The number of guest nights decreased by 90 percent in January
As a result of entry restrictions and epidemiological measures for commercial accommodation, the number of guest nights spent in commercial accommodation decreased by 89.8 percent in January compared to a year before – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Thursday.
The number of nights spent by domestic guests in commercial accommodation fell by 85.5 percent, while the number of nights spent by foreign guests fell by 93.5 percent.
The number of domestic guest nights increased by 11,000 to 115,000 compared to the previous month, which was spent by only 36,000 guests, 92.7 percent less than in January last year. (MTI)
