KSH: foreign trade in services closed year 2018 with a surplus of 8.5 billion euros
Over the past year, 514 billion euros export surplus appeared on services s the result of 25,133 billion euros in exports and 16,619 billion euros in imports, compared to the previous year – according to the survey of the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH).
Exports of services increased by 4.8 percent in euro last year, following a 8.0 percent increase of the previous year, and the growth rate of imports also decelerated from 7.6 percent to 4.4 percent. Tourism’s share was about 23 percent of service exports. (MTI)
