KSH: Earnings increased by 7.9 percent in July

In July, gross and net average earnings were 7.9 percent higher than a year before. The average gross earnings of full – time employees were 433,700 HUF, the net average earnings excluding benefits were 288,400 HUF and taking into account the benefits, they reached 297,100 HUF, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Wednesday.

Together with the discounts, the net average salary is almost 300 thousand forints

With inflation at 4.6 percent in July, real wages rose 3.2 percent.

Excluding public employees, gross average earnings increased by 7.5 percent to 444,300 HUF, while the net average was 295,400 HUF.

Gross earnings among enterprises increased by 6.2 percent to 444,100 HUF and in the budget by 11.8 percent to 413,600 HUF due to the scheduled salary increases of each promotion system. (MTI)
