KSH: 79,000 less workers than a year ago
In the three-month period of May-July, the average number of employees was 4,439,000, 1.7 percent lower than a year earlier, which is a decrease of 79,000 in one year.
The number of people working in the primary labor market decreased by 34,000, the number of people declaring themselves to be publicly employed by 25,000, and the number of members of Hungarian households working abroad decreased by 20,000, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Friday.
