KSH: 7.2 million tons of grain cereals were produced this year
This year, 8.7 percent less, 7.2 million tons of grain cereals were produced in a 10 percent smaller area, compared to last year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Monday.
Crops exceeded the previous year’s volumes, except in case of oats and triticale. The yield of wheat is only 10 kilogrammes lover than its record-breaking yield. The yield of barley was outstanding, reaching 5270 kilograms per hectare. (MTI)
