KSH: retail sales rose by 6.7 percent in February
In February, retail sales rose by 6.7 percent in volume, compared to a year earlier – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Thursday, on the basis of the first estimates.
The calendar-adjusted data corresponds to the raw index.
Compared to January, the growth rate of food sales slightly slowed down from 8.5 percent to 8.4 percent, while the growth rate of the sales of non-food products from 4.1 percent to 4.4 percent. The fuel sales volume was 6.4 percent higher than in February 2013 after the 4.1 percent increase of January. (MTI)
