KSH: Retail sales increased by 5.0 percent
In April, the retail sales volume exceeded 5.0 percent over the previous year. Calendar effect adjusted the increase was 6.7 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported in its second estimate on Friday.
The data both show an increase of 0.3 percentage points higher than was projected in the first estimate released three weeks ago, when 4.7, or 6.4 percent was projected. The increase in April is uninterrupted for 34 months lasting since mid-2013.
