KSH: the turnover of commercial accommodations grew by 4.8 percent

The number of guest nights spent by foreign visitors increased by 2.5 percent, while the number of guest nights spent by domestic tourists increased by 7.9 percent in April, compared to the previous year's level – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.

In January-April, the commercial accommodations registered 6.9 percent more, 5 million 689 thousand guest nights, compared to the same period of 2014.

In the first four months, the foreign visitors spent 3 million 21 thousand, while the domestic guests spent 2 million 668 thousand guest nights at commercial accommodations. The number of foreign guest nights increased by 5.8, while the number of domestic guest nights increased by 8.1 percent. (MTI)
