KSH: GDP increased by 4.8 percent in the second quarter
Gross domestic product (GDP) became 0.2 percentage points better than in the previously expected 4.6 percent in the second quarter, compared to the same period last year, according to the second estimate of the Central Statistical Office (KSH). The revision of the previously published index is primarily explained by the better performance of market-based services than expected – the KSH added.
The seasonally and calendar-adjusted and balanced data show that the economy’s performance has increased by 4.6 percent, compared to the same quarter of last year and by 1.0 percent, compared to the previous quarter. (MTI)
