KSH: earnings grew by 4.1 percent in the first quarter
At businesses with at least five employees, at financial institutions and at non-profit organizations the gross average earnings increased by 4.1 percent in the first quarter of this year. Without calculating the public employees the increase was 3.0 percent – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Thursday.
Net and gross earnings increased by the same extent, so calculating with the 1.0 percent consumer price decline of the first quarter, the growth was 5.2 percent on a national economy level. Without calculating the public employees teh real wage growth in January-March was 4.0 percent, compared with a year earlier. (MTI)
