KSH: Retail sales increased by 4.1 percent
The data show a modest recovery after 3.0 percent raw data and 2.5 percent adjusted data in July.
In the mixed retail trade of food and foodstuffs, the volume of turnover increased by 1.7 percent. The sales volume of food-type mixed stores, which account for 74 percent of food retail, increased by 3.0 percent, while that of food, beverages, and tobacco specialty stores decreased by 2.5 percent.
