KSH: the number of employees was 41 thousand more than a year before

During the three-month period from August to October, the average number of employees was 4 million 445 thousand, 41 thousand more than a year before.

The employment rate for people aged 15-64 grew by 1.4 percentage points to 68.7 percent, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.

The activity rate in the age group 15-64 increased by 0.9 percentage points to 71.6 percent in one year. Despite the modest increase in active staff, the economically inactive population fell by 75,000 due to the 70,000 decline in the age group. (MTI)
