KSH: 4 million 436 thousand was the average number of employees in January

In the November 2017 to January 2018 period, the average number of employees was 4 million 436 thousand, 35 thousand more than a year before. The employment rate of the 15-64 year-olds rose by 1.2 percentage points to 68.7 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday.

The number of people on the primary job market grew by 87,000 compared to the previous year, the number of public employees decreased by 33,000, and the number of employees in foreign sites decreased by 19,000. (MTI)
