KSH: average gross earnings were 390 thousand HUF in the first five months

In May, the average gross earnings were 398,800 HUF, 9.4 percent higher than a year before. In the first five months of the year, gross average earnings were 390,000 HUF and net average earnings excluding discounts were 259,300 HUF, both of which increased by 8.8 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Friday.
Excluding public employees, gross average earnings were 409,800 HUF in May, net average earnings excluding discounts also increased by 9.4 percent to 265,200 HUF, taking into account discounts, reaching 274,500 HUF. (MTI)
