KSH: prices increased by 3.4 percent in November
In November, consumer prices increased by 3.4 percent, compared to the previous year on average, down from 2.9 percent of a month before. Prices rose an average of 0.1 percent compared to October, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday.
Most recently, the annual consumer price increase was 3.4 percent in June.
Over the past year, the prices of alcoholic beverages, tobacco and food products have risen significantly, with tobacco products rising by 12.1 percent on average and food products by 5.5 percent. (MTI)
