KSH: production value increased by 3.1 percent this year
Due to a 0.7 percent drop in production volume and a 3.8 percent rise in producer prices, total agricultural output rose 3.1 percent this year, according to the first estimate of the Central Statistical Bureau (KSH) announced on Wednesday.
With the exception of cereals, the production of live animals and potatoes, agricultural production has stagnated or decreased.
The volume of crop production decreased by 2.3 percent – according to first preliminary data. With a 3.0 percent price increase, this year’s production value was 0.7 percent higher than last year, and became 1,569 billion HUF (MTI).
