KSH: export surplus increased by 300 million euros in October
In October, exports grew by 6.7 percent in euro and imports by 3.6 percent year-on-year. The foreign trade surplus was 514 million euros, 300 million euros more than a year before, according to a first estimate of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) published on Monday.
The euro-denominated export growth rate was three times higher than imports, which occurs for the fourth time this year together with the May figure, while last year only three such months occured throughout the year.
