KSH: foreign trade surplus was 262 million euros in July
In July, the value of exports in euros decreased by 5.6 percent and value of imports by 7.7 percent year-on-year. The foreign trade surplus improved by 184 million euros to 262 million euros – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Tuesday based on its first estimate.
Exports in July were 51.0 percent higher than the April low, imports were 33.1 percent higher, but none approached the first three months.
Hungary handled 77 percent of its exports and 71 percent of its imports with the countries of the European Union in July. (MTI)
