KSH: GDP increased by 2.6 percent in the second quarter
The volume of the gross domestic product grew by 2.6 percent in the second quarter, compared to the same period of last year.
According to the seasonally and calendar adjusted data, the economic performance increased by 1.8 percent, compared to the same quarter of the previous year, while compared to the previous quarter increased by 1.0 percent, which is a bit lower than the 2.2 and 1, 1 percent that was issued in the first estimate on 12 August – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Tuesday.
