KSH: GDP grew by 2.4 percent in the third quarter
In the third quarter the gross domestic product (GDP) rose by 2.4 percent, compared to the same period of last year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Friday on the basis of its second estimate. The data is a slightly better than the first estimate (2.3 percent) released on 13 November.
Compared to the previous quarter, the GDP grew by 0.6 percent, according to the calendar effect adjusted data. In the first three quarters the economy's performance increased by 2.8 percent, compared to the same period of last year. (MTI)
