KSH: GDP grew by 1.4 percent in the fourth quarter of last year
The volume of gross domestic product (GDP) decreased by 3.6 percent in the fourth quarter of last year, compared to the same period of the previous year. The seasonally and calendar-adjusted performance of the Hungarian economy decreased by 1.4 percent compared to the previous quarter and the third quarter of 2020, and decreased by 4.1 percent compared to the fourth quarter of the previous year, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Tuesday. .
Compared to the previous quarter, economic growth was 0.3 percentage points higher than in the first estimate of the KSH, and the decline was 0.1 percentage points smaller year-on-year.
In 2020, the volume of GDP was 5.0 percent lower than in the previous year, which is also a 0.1 percentage point smaller decline than in the first estimate. (MTI)
