KSH: consumer prices fell by 1.0 percent in February
The consumer prices fell by 1.0 percent in February, compared to the same month of 2014, while compared to the previous month, consumer prices increased by 0.5 percent for the first time since July 2014 – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday.
Mináry Borbála, head department of the Central Statistical Office told that the numbers suggest that the current downward trend is starting to turn around. The growth in fuel and seasonal food prices played a major role in the trend changing. The core inflation indicator also shows a slight increase, while it was steadily declining since January 2014 – she added. (MTI)
